AIT Career Fair Photo Competition on 7th November, 2012

The AIT Career Center is organizing Career fair on 7th November 2012. In addition to the regular Fair activities, we are proud to announce that this year we are holding a PHOTO COMPETITION for the whole AIT community.

The competition will have three categories:

Category 1: Life in AIT

• Photos that capture the experience of living in the unique environment of AIT. Photos must be taken within AIT campus.

Category 2: Research & Academics

• Photos that capture the academic and research endeavors taken by AIT.

Category 3: Careers - Now & Beyond

• Photos that capture people engaged in activities which express career aspirations or pictures taken during career-related events within AIT.

Rules and Conditions:

1.     The competition is open to all faculty, staff and students of AIT (including their family members)
2.     Entries must be digital images, in JPEG format, and between 1MB and 5 MB in size.
3.     Contestants can submit maximum three entries per category and the entries must be their own work.
4.     Photos should not be digitally manipulated. Only cropping and adjustment of the resolution of the photo is permitted.

How to Apply:

• Send you photos along with a doc file which lists down the filenames & their corresponding captions along with your details.

• Please provide full name, ID and contact email. In case of dependents, it should also mention the name of the dependent.

• Each entry must be named in the format ID#_Cat#_Photo#.jpg as shown in the example below:

E.g., Name of the 1st image submitted by student with ID 104678 for Category 2 : 104678_Cat2_Photo1.jpg

Name of the 2nd image submitted by staff with ID 2345 for Category 2: 2345_Cat2_Photo2.jpg

 

• Provide caption for each image.

• Entries should be sent by email to: career.centerAIT@gmail.com with subject-line "Entry for Career Fair Photo Competition 2012".

• Deadline for submission of entries is 19 October 2012.

Judging:

•     Winners will be decided by a judging panel and their decision will be final.
•     Winning photographs will be announced on the day of the Career Fair, i.e. on 7th November 2012.
•     Once submitted, AIT Career Center reserves the right to use the photographs in official publications/website.

Prizes:

•     Best photo in each category will receive a 1500 Baht gift voucher.
•     Runner-up in each category will receive a 1000 Baht gift voucher.
•     All the participants will be awarded with certificates of appreciation.
