Years of complaints from students and dissatisfaction with language
skills of many staffs, specially Thai staffs, in AIT the institute
has decided to train them for English language communications skills,
below is the email from acting president
>
> As part of staff development program this year, I am pleased to inform you that I have requested the AIT Language Center to help organize an English course for secretaries. The objective of the course is to raise the level of English communication skills, both in writing and speaking among secretaries who lack the proper skills.
>
> For this semester, the Language Center can only offer a pilot class of a maximum15 participants. The program will run for 10 weeks with classes organized every Friday (from 4 October 2013), from 2:30-4:30 pm (total of 20 hours). The course will be sponsored by the Institute and will be free of charge to participating staff members who are selected to attend. I also wish to request the cooperation of all unit heads to endorse the staff for this overdue development. I hope that similar types of staff development which should fall under the responsibility of HRO will be organized as required in subsequent semesters.
>
> If any secretary feels they need this communication skill, please send your applications to the President's Office (c/o Khun Chotiros, chotirosm@ait.asia) not later than Friday, 20 September 2013. I request immediate supervisors and unit heads of concerned secretaries to support this remedial program.

> Thank you.
